Greek Will Return For Its Sophomore Season With a New Cast Member!!!

POSTED BY admin on Nov 18 under Latest news, about show, watch online

Hey guys. I am back with the latest news information about Greek. Well most of you must be aware that the series is returning with a brand new season in the spring of 2009. The season will also feature Jessie McCartney who is the latest addition to the cast of the series. She will be playing the role of Andy, Calvin’s high school friend who invigorates the rivalry between Kappa Tau’s and Omega Chi’s. Another star who will be making a guest appearance in the mid-season premiere will be Ken Marino, who will be playing the role of a summer camp counselor. The creator of the show Sean Smith has reportedly said that the new season will be full of new fun, new pledges and new excitement and adventures. It will be a whole new year with Casey moving on to her senior year at the University and Rusty in the fall of his second year. So I think there is a lot to look forward to in the new season.

Greek has been one of the best college shows aired on the television in the recent years. Its excellent sense of humor and drama combined with the fact that it really gives an insight into one of the oldest cultures of the world makes it stand out amongst the hoard of other shows. Who would have thought that it will grow from an appalling show to become the most watched show on television? It has proved that with the honest efforts of a good cast and crew a bad show can really be made into the most amazing show. So guys get ready for spring next year to enjoy another rollercoaster ride with one of your favorite shows.

Season Two Review

POSTED BY admin on Oct 18 under Watch Episode, about show, reviews, watch online

Another happening season of “Greek” is over and off course, this is not enough. Each and every episode contains more hustle bustle in comparison to the previous season. Relationships took new turn; there is a little twist in every simple-looking situation. Over all, this is a well written season, stuffed with drama and perfectly blended with humor. Believe me, not a single episode from this season is worth skipping. I’ve spent my whole weekend in watching these episodes.

The premier episode begins with enthusiastic Greek week competition. Meanwhile Calvin and Rusty are trying to save their true friendship, despite their opposing houses. Casey is fed up of Rebecca’s deeds and decides to mentor her in some way. Later Casey and Ashleigh go crazy for ZBZ Crush party. Man!

Like it is said ‘Friend in need is friend indeed’. Ashliegh has definitely got indeed friends in her circle. Casey and Rusty arrange a casino night to help her get rid of debt. Cappie needs a new car, whereas Rebecca is showing negative vibes about relationship with Cappie. For her it’s not happening anymore. Well relationships in college life are like this only.

“Gays, Ghosts and Gamma Rays” is most interesting episode. Here Rusty is looking for the odd one in the Kappa Tau actives. And here’s something steamy, Ashleigh, Calvin and Michael plan a visit to Gay Bar. Later the gang attends a ZBZ National Convention in Orlando. Surprisingly, Frannie and Casey are confronting each other. In “The Popular Vote” everybody is looking for a date with heart on hands. Rusty and Cappie even sign for a speed dating service sponsored by women’s volleyball team. The lucky one is Rusty who gets a sweet girl Lauren for dating.

In episode “There’s a Crowd”, Rusty discovers secrets about Dale’s high school friend. Ashleigh being a new ZBZ president is mangling into battle between Casey and Frannie.

The season closed with episode “Hell Week”, Casey is in the quest of decision making. She learns that Max is planning to Cal tech for Grad school, although she is offered a scholarship. This episode was like a storm in the lives of gang. Everybody is facing one’s own challenges.

Every episode carries a new astonishing event, that’s why I love to watch this show.

Gays, Ghosts and Gamma Rays, review

POSTED BY admin on Sep 15 under Watch Episode, about show, reviews, watch online

If I’d be asked to define this episode in just a single sentence, I’ll definitely say-

OMG! A fantastic episode…

It was already sure that Max has set his eyes on Casey and she on him, but something about his past was yet to be revealed and ‘Gays, Ghosts and Gamma Rays’ finally revealed it. It was a brilliantly planned episode and I must say, if you’ve skipped it, you must watch it now to enjoy a good rated episode.

The whole episode is divided up into three phases and the first phase opens with Casey, who decides to make an excuse to see Max. I personally feel that when you fall in love with someone, you keep on scheming how to see that person and the very same happens with Casey. Finally, she gets an idea and hires him as her astronomy tutor. But, it doesn’t work out and things go awry. Meanwhile, Rusty comes across a photo of a girl and Max says, it’s his girlfriend. When Rusty passes on this news to Casey, she thinks that everything is over and sends Max a check for his tutoring services to end up the things with him. Casey plans to leave it all but luckily or somehow accidentally, both meet up once again and Max kisses her leaving her more confused than she was before. Later on, Casey comes to know that Max had lost his girlfriend few months ago, who was suffering from Cancer. His young age and this depressing incident force him not to think about Casey. Finally, she accepts to bow out.

In the second phase, we see Rusty when he meets up a female professor as he has some doubts regarding the identity of a student named Joshua Whopper. Cappie claims he’s Joshua and agrees to re-appear for the test. In the end of the episode, we see Calvin and Michael who’re enjoying a romantic night and Michael asks Calvin to have more gay friends. Michael also tries to cheer up Rebecca. Again, we see a conversation between Max and Casey and it ends up with a kiss, much better than the previous one.

As per my viewpoint, it was a great episode which let all the characters to grow and the best part was ‘Casey-Max’ relationship- which finally blossomed.

Let’s talk to Greek’s Scott Michael Foster

POSTED BY admin on Sep 11 under Celebrity gossip, reviews, watch online

Scott Michael Foster, playing Cappie, Rusty’s big brother on Greek, approbates that he has started getting recognized as Cappie in the streets and it makes him to walk proudly. This may be astonishing for an actor/actress when people recognize him/her as the role he/she plays in TV shows/ movies etc and Scott is lucky to have such kind of identity. How do I know all this? Actually, I’ve got his interview extracts and here it is for you people!

When he was asked about the second season, Scott (or we should say Cappie) replies, “We’re still really excited about everything. But we are really comfortable with the people we work with.” Next question was ‘Are you starting to get recognized as Cappie’? He says, “Yeah, absolutely. We’ll go out and people will say “Cappie!” or I’ll be walking on the sidewalk and I’ll pass a group of people and I’ll hear behind me “That guy’s on Greek!”

Then he was asked ‘Do you know what on-line people say about you”? Scott laughs and says, “I’ve heard, people are really into what’s going on with the characters. None of us thought people would be blogging about us, but it’s good to hear.” ‘Isn’t it funny to see Rebecca and Cappie together”? Cappie utters, “It’s very opposite, which is the way a lot of people come together. Opposites attract.”

Do you know who the biggest fan of his show is? Most probably, it’s his mom! Scott-cum-Cappie says, my mom watches the show and she loves the show. She doesn’t want me to break up with her (Rebecca).

Well, I personally like Cappie and Rebecca together and they are pretty cool as a couple. Cappie is a cool guy and Rebecca is a sweet gal and the combination is ‘Cool-Sweet Pair’ on Greek. Okay, what you say about Rusty-Rebecca relationship? Share your viewpoints with me! Mine……… ‘Rusty-Rebecca’! Huh! Don’t ….. I can’t see that’!

Greek reminds me of my College days!

POSTED BY admin on Sep 9 under Watch Episode, about show, reviews, watch online

Why do you watch Greek? If anyone asks me this question, my immediate response is ‘it reminds me of my college days’. I am a 33 year old house-wife who spends her spare time watching TV shows when kids and hubby go to their school and office respectively. Another pastime is writing and I am a freelance blogger also.

I have been watching Greek right from its beginning and never skip any episode as it makes me nostalgic about my College days. Greek is an American Teen Comedy drama TV series, which follows the lives of super social sister Casey, and her anti-social brother Rusty as they navigate through the different phases of life in a Greek College along with a group of college students. Series is currently running with second season (a highly anticipated season) and the next episode ‘Gays, Ghosts and Gamma Rays’ will be aired on September 16, 08.

Watching all these youngsters creating stochasticity in college campus makes me remember the days when our crew was known as the most-buzzing crew of the college. Ah!! College days were really enjoyable and I think its’ impossible to have such kind of fun and enjoyment again. Thanks to TV shows like Greek which remind us of our precious days. Series is written and produced by Wildfire Sean Smith, the man who has also written and produced ‘Summerland’.

Rusty, Casey, Cappie, Evan, they all are the naughty teenagers who partake in the School’s Greek System. Hopefully, we’ll have another season if ratings remain good this time!

From the heart of the fans

POSTED BY admin on Sep 6 under Uncategorized

The series has completed its first season and had a pretty fair response from the critics as well as its viewers. Critics gave a mixed response to the series. But a more number of them were happy the way the series has dealt the teenage psyche, especially that of a geek and their high spirited ways of dealing with life. On the whole they were of the view that the series is light comedy and fun to watch. The not so popular side of the college going has been dealt nicely and even a few social issues have been discussed, which is praise worthy.

Fans too have given it a good response, over all. They have got so much involved in the series that they have actually started hating the characters, of the series. Can you imagine how attached the viewers can get if they like something. They have all liked the way the actors have done their job; they almost looked real to them. The fans seriously can’t get off the comedy part of the show.

The fans are too badly waiting for the next season to come on air. As they are all ready for more fun, thrill and excitement and they are expecting the second season to be better than the first one.

Greek from my point of view

POSTED BY admin on Sep 2 under Watch Episode, reviews

The series will remind you of your college days. All the fun that you had when you were young and actually could experiment with your image. Without botheration when you could get into anything and even get out of it. Plus the whole lot of changes that you undergo, when you step into this completely new world, as there is no end to your excitement and curiosity. The series welcomes you to this one next step of life: College.

Greek is basically about these siblings, and their experience of college life. Rusty who has just entered college and is ready to do anything to shed away his high school image of a geek. The series is about his whole journey as he tries to become a happening Greek guy to a geek and how he eventually grows up in the process and gets use to his new life. To throw away his boring image he decides to join a fraternity on the college campus. What kind of bumpy road he had to ride in order to famous, the series is about that and will he be able to achieve his milestone?????

The show rocks because of the fact that it shares amazing comedy and with another geek in process of becoming a happening dude. The show is full of laughter as it covers unique and new ways of dealing with the life of not so happening and on the process what kind of mishappening they have to deal with, makes the viewers laugh. And yes not to forget the romantic plot of the series.
