Gays, Ghosts and Gamma Rays, review

POSTED BY admin on Sep 15 under Watch Episode, about show, reviews, watch online

If I’d be asked to define this episode in just a single sentence, I’ll definitely say-

OMG! A fantastic episode…

It was already sure that Max has set his eyes on Casey and she on him, but something about his past was yet to be revealed and ‘Gays, Ghosts and Gamma Rays’ finally revealed it. It was a brilliantly planned episode and I must say, if you’ve skipped it, you must watch it now to enjoy a good rated episode.

The whole episode is divided up into three phases and the first phase opens with Casey, who decides to make an excuse to see Max. I personally feel that when you fall in love with someone, you keep on scheming how to see that person and the very same happens with Casey. Finally, she gets an idea and hires him as her astronomy tutor. But, it doesn’t work out and things go awry. Meanwhile, Rusty comes across a photo of a girl and Max says, it’s his girlfriend. When Rusty passes on this news to Casey, she thinks that everything is over and sends Max a check for his tutoring services to end up the things with him. Casey plans to leave it all but luckily or somehow accidentally, both meet up once again and Max kisses her leaving her more confused than she was before. Later on, Casey comes to know that Max had lost his girlfriend few months ago, who was suffering from Cancer. His young age and this depressing incident force him not to think about Casey. Finally, she accepts to bow out.

In the second phase, we see Rusty when he meets up a female professor as he has some doubts regarding the identity of a student named Joshua Whopper. Cappie claims he’s Joshua and agrees to re-appear for the test. In the end of the episode, we see Calvin and Michael who’re enjoying a romantic night and Michael asks Calvin to have more gay friends. Michael also tries to cheer up Rebecca. Again, we see a conversation between Max and Casey and it ends up with a kiss, much better than the previous one.

As per my viewpoint, it was a great episode which let all the characters to grow and the best part was ‘Casey-Max’ relationship- which finally blossomed.
